How to delete tile(s) from the default My Home group in Fiori Launchpad

Hi experts,

On our Fiori Launchpad for some of the users we have added a few tiles from the Tile Catalog to the default My Home group. Is there a way to remove tiles from this group/delete this group altogether from the Launchpad? When we try to drag tiles from this group we do not see any delete option. Also when I click on the icon next to the SAP logo in the header which shows the list of groups, I don't see any option to drag the My Home group and drop it on the delete option.

The SAP_UI version for our system is SP12.

->Group "My Home" cannot be deleted

->If you disable personalization of Launchpad, then "My Home" will not appear

->To remove tiles from "My Group", I am not sure the right steps, but I could do by following below steps.

          goto "Personalization mode",

          move the tile from "My Home" to any other group, say Group A.

          reset the Group A

to delete a tile in Fiori S4 Hana 1909, go to profile ( symbol of half a man to right) choose "edit Home page" , then look for your tile and delete.

Former Member - following the steps you mentioned I was able to get rid of the My Home group from appearing on the Launchpad. Feeling a bit silly that this didnot occur to me

Hi Saurabh,

This happens when a user is not authorized to edit the personalization. Remove the app role from the userid and reassign to the user.

Then you can enable personalization.
