Remove logout button on SAP Fiori Launchpad

Hello Experts,

Is it possible to remove logout button from Fiori launchpad?

If yes, what should be the approach and how can I achieve this? I can do this using CSS but customer does not want to follow this approach.

Hi Srinu,

Sorry, I couldn't find anyway to remove the logout button. I don't think there is any standard way of doing it. But you could look for Launchpage as BSP application in se80 transaction, here you will see the views and controllers for Launchpad.

There was a security issue at my customer's end, so there was no need to remove the logout button.

Hello Masa,

This is actually an alternative solution to a problem what we are facing with a customer. The problem is, logout works fine on desktop but its not working on mobile device. After logging out on mobile device, we see "page not found" error.

Hence customer decided to remove the logout button completely and we were wondering if this is possible?

Hi Prerana.

Logoff settings can be configured from SICF node and redirected to the login page.

When you logout, it returns you back to the login screen. This should be the idle requirement. Let us know if redirecting the page to Login screen helps.
