APO Product Planning Table - displays only 13 periods despite of 2 years horizon

Hi,

I face an issue I have never seen. In APO, I enter the product planning table with a time horizon from now till August 2017, so more than 24 months.

But in the "product view: periodic" the system displays only 13 periods, despite of the time horizon entered and despite the period type, day, week or month. And I don't know why?? see below.

now on weekly level

any idea where the root cause might be?

thanks in advance,

Pilvi

Hi Pilvi,

Check in menu bar -- settings and click user settings or click user setting icon. Thereafter go to periods and check what is mentioned here. Check whether the assigned here is visible in "product view: periodic".

Also check Product 2 tab whether its aggregated or dis aggregated for receipts and other elements.

Hi Rahul,

thanks for responding.

I played with diferent period types, SAP001 -SAP004 , so shifts, days, weeks, months. the system dispays always 13 columns = 13 periods. But in hte Q-System I don't face this issue...

I don't see the connection to aggregated/disaggregated for receipts/demand...

I wonder where this issue come from....

Pilvi

Hi Pilvi,

If I understood you correctly, if Period Type is set to days, it will display 13 days, while if Period Type is set to Weeks, it will show 13 weeks.

Please, check in the layout settings whether some columns were hidden:

Hi Tiago,

thanks a lot. that was the case that the other periods were hidden in the layout.

but how this could happen? I have never seen sth like this?

I think the only possibility is that one of the users did that...

how can I reword you. I see only "Like" but no "correct answer" ?

thank you so much!

best regards,

Hi Pilvi,

Nice to know you could solve it . Yeah, most likely, a user set it by mistake, I've only seen this twice, not sure there is any other way for this to occur.

Thread below show where "Correct Answer" and "Helpful" buttons are: . If they do not appear to you, I do not know the reason.

Regards,

Tiago
