Hi Mani,

thank you for the link. I am following the link but the screenshots are not clear. please can you tell the option selected in second screenshot. is it folder ? should we create a new folder? also you are giving the vbs script from your local desktop, I am running the script in linux, so should I point the os path where script resides?

thanks,

Ranjith

if you have rexec running on your *nix system you can schedule that script thru BOE.
But why are your lcmbiar files in tomcat/temp dir ?
and why can't you create a cron job ?

Hi Denis,

thank you for the reply. it is company policy that no cron job can be used. we normally take file level backup and export it as lcm files and I believe that is getting inside tomcat/temp and creating space issues. please can you share some links or documents to refer the rexec utility.

thanks,
Ranjith

Promotion management is not designed to be used as backup solution.

When I search google for rexec daemon I get 59000 links, which one you want me to share ?

rexec needs to be running on unix, for you to be able to schedule your program object/script from CMC.

CMC is a remote client for your unix host, rexec allows remote clients access to OS.
