Hi,

As shown in the attached print screen I can display the values for one specific variant in transaction SE38.

I however would like to know whether it is possible to display the values of all variants at once. This so I can download the result and perform an analysis on the data.

You could write a small report

  • Get list of variant of a report/set of report with RS_VARIANT_CATALOG
  • Extract values for each variant thru RS_VARIANT_VALUES_TECH_DATA

Merge data and display in an ALV

I suspect OP is not planning to do this regularly and looking for a one time solution not involving ABAP. But that's what one gets by posting in ABAP tag. :)

@OP - there is no such functionality exactly, but if you use the menu Variants -> Catalog in your first screenshot you'll see a full list of variants. The values for each are just one click away from there. And if you have more variants than possible to analyze manually then it's a different problem.

Good luck!

Hi Tom,

in my opinion it is not possible directly with TC SE38. As Raymond suggested, it would be rational to write an own coding to select the data base table with all variants, that are needed.

Alex

I am not sure this is possible the way that you want. A few ideas

  1. Create a new variant that combines the data that you want from all the different runs
  2. Save to a file in unconverted format -- System --> List --> Save --> Local File --> Unconverted. When you do this, it will give you an option of appending to an existing file.
  3. Similar to the previous, but save to clipboard and you take care of appending by yourself in your favorite editor. System --> List --> Save --> Local File --> In the Clipboard
  4. Write a wrapper ABAP program to SUBMIT these variants and accumulate the results.
