Register Configuration failed for Mass Transfer ID and Schema

Dear Experts,

We're trying to setup SLT Configuration from ERP system (Replication server) to HANA Database. During configuration in transaction LTR of Replication server, I am getting error "Register Configuration failed for Mass Transfer ID and Schema" when i click on "Create configuration" in "Review and Create" step.

Any ideas, please?

And also please double check all installation steps as mentioned in the document by SAP.

Issue got resolved, once I deleted the old SYSTEM user configuration completely.

I feel some note implementation missed? Please check all relevant SAP notes has to be implemented.

But I have one doubt once we create configuration system will generate mass transfer ID but here why it is showing as error message before.

What is the SLT DMIS 2011 SP08 ?

Hi,

Can you check if there are any dumps (Tcode- ST22 and SM21) registered in your source and SLT system for this failure?

Hi Saritha,

Thank you for your quick response.

Currently, we planned to connect source system which also an SLT replication server to HANA Database.

I found in SM21 log, error "Database error 258 at OPC". It seems to be an authorization issue but I am not able to figureout, which privilieges are missing?

Any ideas, please?

Hi,

Is your administration user same as SYSTEM user id ? If not please make sure that the privileges are same as the SYSTEM id's roles and privileges?

and

Is your RFC connection user having below privileges -

SAP_IUUC_REPL_REMOTE

SAP_IUUC_REPL_DISPLAY

SAP_IUUC_REPL_ADMIN ?

Hi Saritha,

I compared my new user privileges with SYSTEM user and applied all the required privilieges.

Even then, i get the same error. Actually, it is allowed to maintain a user other than SYSTEM  user for SLT configuration?

Any other ideas, please?

Hi,

Usually we make use of SYSTEM user id only. Can you try with SYSTEM id once?

I hope your SYSTEM id credentials are correct over here. ERROR message seems to be more from your database authorization.

On which DMIS version are you setting it up?

Have you applied the correct SAP Kernel with patch as per your DMIS version? check note 1597627

Can you check if there is any db connection being created or not using tcode- DBCO?

Have you applied all correction notes based on your DMIS version?

Hi Saritha,

DMIS versions and Kernel patches are fine and up-to-date.

It is strange to hear that SYSTEM works but when i apply the same privileges for another user and perform SLT configuration. Then, I get the same error "Register Configuration failed for Mass Transfer ID and Schema".

Any other ideas, please?
