We went live with C4C production. Now we are faced with Upgrade. Need to know the details of taking backup of the data, is there any tool available within C4C for back-up or SAP takes the backup? Any info on this is very helpful

Ash,
I would strongly recommend you to request for a Restore Point.
Hope this helps you.
Regards.
Alejandro.

Ash,
For requesting a Restore Point you should open an incident on your tenant (yes, you can request it also for your Test tenant).
The information you should include on that incident are: Customer name, Customer number, Source tenant ID or URL and the Requested downtime of source tenant.
Hope this helps you.
Regards.
Alejandro.
