Use CMIS location via HCP Connector as data source for Fiori Master Detail Application?

Hi all,

I've set up the HCP Connector to point to a local repository that works with CMIS. I've also set up a destination. This all is working well. Now I want to create a simple demo based on a Fiori Master-Detail application template. I'm struggling with the data connection that has to be selected. How can I select or connect the repository? Should I use the "Service Catalog" or the "Service URL". I thought "Service URL" seems to be the way but it looks like that I can only use repositories that are supporting OData protocol? By my repository does not support OData. Anyway, I currently do not have a clue on how I can connect my repository as source?

Does someone has some tips or at least are there some tutorials that I've missed? I mean, I found a lot of stuff about OData but as I cant use it, it always fails on the point of the "Data Connection".

Thanks for any input.

Hi Mario,

I believe the template wizard is not supposed to accept non-oData repositories out of the box.

Please check our documentation here about how to use our SAP Document Center Fiori Component within an HTML5 application (which is intended for such integration scenarios). So leave the template wizard as empty as possible, and do the integration via our component. At least this should show you how you can integrate CMIS content into your application.

best regards,

Ingo
