Unclean BEx Analyzer Installation

Former Member

Hi Folks,

I am trying to get a precalculation server running on a VM with MS Server 2012 / Excel 2007 / GUI 7.40 PL1 / BEx 7.30  which is working good so far.

The only thing I am struggling with is the BEx installation which is not ok right now. After running the installation check there are two files missing (dhmtled.ocx / triedit.dll).

Is there anything I got to install manually and how does this work? The files are definitely not available on the server! Is there maybe something in the features area of the "Server Manager" (strange new MS Server 2012 R2 - handling...) I got to activate?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Can you please refer the following SAP Note:

504495 - MAS : Changing Mode in Tile Failed

This SAP Note mentions the steps on how to deregister these files

dhmtled.ocx / triedit.dll and then register them correctly .

Please check whether it helps you.

Thanks & Regards,

Sapna

Hello Andreas,

These two files were used by Web Application Designer 3.x, which is not supported anymore.

They are DHTML editing ActionX widgets, which are not much relevant.

See note 893283 - Web Application Designer starts with error message '91'

These files are no more relevant to BW 7.0 frontend tools.

We have to create some KBA with this information, in the future, but you can ignore it.

Kind regards,
