I have a customer who will be implementing drop-shipping where they will "sell" an item and have it drop-shipped from another vendor. Of course, this is the perfect scenario for using a dropship warehouse.and the features that come with it.
However, they are concerned about account determinations and have requested NOT using an actual dropship warehouse, but rather doing this process manually. They already have advanced account determinations turned on, so I don't see this as really being an issue since additional rules can be easily added.
Can someone explain the negative consequences of dropshipping manually and having the inventory come in/out of their system.
