We're using Integrated Planning for e.g. 0COSTCENTER which is fine and all but now here's the thing.
Let's assume we're having a value in 0COSTCENTER AB-C-DE whose validity starts 01.01.2016 (This cost Center is NOT supposed to be posted beforehand - bureaucracy stuff and all that) Now OF COURCE we're doing the planning for 2016 before the year starts.
Meaning, we need to be able to post on cost Center AB-C-DE before it's even valid.
We're using queries for that which is just fine. But how the heck do I get to post on a cost center that isn't even valid yet?
My idea was to add a key date when selecting a query. You know, like cheating the system that today's already 2016 so please, give my my 0COSTCENTER so I can post in it.
Same applies for 0PROFITCENTER.
I tried adding a key date variable but it doesn't seem to have an effect.
Ideas anyone? How do I get to differentiate?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Anja,
next time please post IP questions here:
your requirement is pretty easy to fulfil.
There is the key date in the query properties.
There you need to use a exit variable which reads from the planning year - either the first of January or the 31.12. that depends a bit on how validity ranges are used in your company.

Cornelia
