Free SAP HANA instance

I was playing around with the 30 days trial instance of SAP HANA, found here: SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

When I wanted to participate in the course "Introduction to Software Development on SAP HANA" on openSAP, it said:

"Do not use the 30 day trial version that is available in the SAP Developer Center. You will be unable to use it throughout the length of this course."

So is there an alternative free version of HANA available online?

Hello Dol,

you you use the HANA Trial Instance on the HANA Cloud Platform (with some limitations). For more information please have a look to SAP HANA Cloud Platform. A free trial account for HANA Cloud Platform can be registered at SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

thank you for your answer.

But I'm not sure whether I understand you correctly. As described in my question, I'm already using a trial account from SAP HANA Cloud Platform. But in the online course it says, I'm not able to use it as it is only available for 30 days. Am I correct?

Are there different trial accounts?

Is there any difference between trial instance and trial account?

Hello,

the HANA Cloud Platform trial account (including the HANA trial instance) is an unlimited account regarding time at the moment. There are just some restrictions regarding the features.
