Offline WF approval in ECC with justification

Hello Workflow Gurus,

I have a Workflow requirement were an user decision has to be made to approve or reject and the business wants the approval to be given from the email, offline from SAP. For this, i was going to follow this guide (any other ways of achieving this please let me know):

Offline Workflow Approval in ECC R/3 without SAP Logon from E-Mail (Outlook)

However, the business requirement has changed a little and if the person chooses to reject they have to be able to provide a justification on why they are rejecting. I know how to do this for when they reject in SAP, however, is there anyway for the management to include a justification when they reject offline from their email?

Please, any help, thoughts, suggestions will be greatly appreciated as this is urgent to start development on monday.

    If you look on page 2 of that link you see:

    *- Get mail body, here you can read the REJECTION Reason -*
    l_mail_content = lo_document->get_body_part_content( '1' ).
    CATCH cx_document_bcs.

    Anyway, I think it's a very bad idea to do approvals in this way.

    You are making fraud very easy.

    You can Pass the rejection reason via FM SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE. You can pass the rejection reason in Importing parameter "DECISION_NOTE" . Just check the WHERE USED for this FM to see how to pass the DECSION_NOTE in this FM

    In the link that you have provided, this FM is already used to complete the workitem.

    Refer note 1964571: create note for rejection reason if needed -
