How to Mount a share folder in AL11- Os level ( SAP R/3)

Hi Experts,

I am basically and SAP ABAP/PI  Consultant.

I have a requirement in which I need to read the  text files from SAP PI OS level folder  through an ABAP program to rename the files .Since it some technical difficulties to read the file ,Please let us know how the share folder can be mount with  SAP R/3 server ..so that I can see the share folder details in AL11 T- Code. So that I can easily read and replace the file in the SAP PI folder ( ie, here my share folder ).

Please help.

Tibin,

Create a folder in OS level.

Eample:-

usr/sap/trans/Zfolder.

Goto AL11 create a directory called ZTEST and point the the path = usr/sap/trans/Zfolder.

now you can go and save files and share the same.

You will be able to upload and download into ZTEST using AL11.
