Validation of Business Area and plant

Dear All,

we would like to set up a validation between Business Area and Plant in MIGO while doing issue of material or transfer of material. Please let us know if we can set up a validation in OB28 to check if the Business area matchs with the plant. If there is no match then provide an error message. Please let me know if the same will trigger during any transaction.

Hi Pavalavel,

You can assign BA to plant in OMJ7. So first do assignment then system will default the BA assigned for it. So no need to define any validation.

Hi Mukthar,

we have account assigned the material document to the WBS.Hence the BA is picked up from the WBS. Hence we have to validate the same.

Hi,

You can also assign the BA along with plant in the WBS in the assignment tab.
