SAP Fiori - Approve Leave Request: Tile- Item Count shows dots

Hi,

We have Approve Leave Request working in our landscape, where of number of leave Requests (Count) is not appearing on the tile even when there are entries existing when we launch the Tile.

The app is working fine, but the only problem we are facing is that on the Fiori Launchpad, on Approve Leave Request Tile, where the count should be displayed, 3 dots (...) are being displayed instead of a number.

Otherwise, the app is able to approve/reject the leave request as expected.

Please let me know if you require further details and have a solution for this.

Can you keep developer tools open and reload the Launchpad and see if there are any errors in the 'Network' tab of the developer tools?

If no errors,

Other possibility is a problem with your Tile configuration. Can you show screenshot of your Tile config from Launchpad designer?

Hi Krishna,

There are no errors being reflected, on signing in with fiori, when landed to the homepage of the launchpad.

Also cross checked with the tile config, which seemed to be alright!

Probably the technical catalog configuration you are checking and the one assigned to you in launchpad are different.

There are 2 set of roles, Business catalog and technical catalog.

Double check the service URL configured for both technical/business catalog.

Hi Taran,

If the Tile shows dots and your itemcountcollection is showing response as the number pending, then the issue is from UI side.

Could you provide the UI library version.

Check how to : /sap/public/bc/ui5_ui5/index.html

Current UI Lib version is 1.26.9.

Please check all the mandatory notes as per this document. 1.26.13 is the latest. I myself have faced couple of hickups at SP11. Beware of 1.26.11 and 12.

Please check if you have maintain the correct service url in Dynamic Data part in Launchpad designer.

version 1: /sap/opu/odata/GBHCM/LEAVEAPPROVAL/ItemCountCollection

version 2: /sap/opu/odata/sap/HCM_LEAVE_REQ_APPROVE_SRV/ItemCountSet

The service has been maintained in the dynamic part in launchpad designer.

Still investigating further more on the issue though!
