Hi There

Need some advise on the above.

I have created some new project types in the system and it is working fine in my development. Once I transported to our quality system, and perform the test by creating the ITEM, the below error message is prompt.

No object of object category 'Project Template'
exists for GUID 002481D9190E1EE18B8069F313148903

Did I miss some configuration? Thank you.

Make sure, in DFM settings, the destination system for below object is set to NONE

Configuration need to be maintained as follows:

-> SAP Portfolio and Project Management
-> Common Functions
-> Decision Flow Management Settings
-> Define DFM object Link Types
-> Select the object type 0INMPROJECT and go to the detail-view.
->Ensure that the "Destination" is set to NONE and save the settings

Dear Kannan,

are you creating a project in Projectmanagement based on an item when saving the item?

Then check the assginment of item-type to project-template in customizing:
Portfolio Management > Global Customizing > Portfolio-Independent Settings >
Map Item Type to Project or PS

Is the assigned Project Template ID available in the system?
