Product interchangeability and ATP not working

Hi,

I have done all required configuration for Product interchangeability along with ATP configuration as shown below,

After heuristic run, substitute order and corresponding dependent requirement are generated for preceding product and requirement in successor product.

As per functionality, after you have set the conversion indicator for a planned order, or performed an ATP check, the planned order contains the current substitute components and the product substitution orders are no longer required

But in my case production order does not contain substitute product neither substitution orders are reduced for preceding product. Production order still contain preceding product.

Could you please help me to find out reason for the same? Did I miss any other required setting.

Issue is resolved. Problem was "Product check" in checking instruction is not maintained as First step.

Hi Lalit,

Can you please explain the business scenario that you're trying to achieve. I see you have mentioned the ATP configuration and you're talking about Heuristics. Are you executing CTP scenario ?

Which functionality are you talking here ?

Hi Babu,

I have component A which is replaced by B. Now this replacement need to be done via Product interchangeability in APO for planned order/production order. I am trying to achieve this via "Product interchangeability in PPDS" Here is link for the same:

Hi Vinod,

I have maintained Interchangeability group with Supersession chain and hence maintenance of below stuff is not required (As per above SAP documentation)

Hi Lalit,

Please check that you've activated Add products from supersession chains in SNP01 screen that you use to run the heuristic in the variant that use for background job.

Hi Vinod,

We are not using SNP planning run. We are using PPDS planning heuristic for planning product in CDPSB0.
