Hello Expert,

I have a requirement which i'm not able to meet with current functionality of SAP.

Like interest due date alert to user.

Alert notification to monitor new loans, facilities and leases

Alert notification/ability to monitor maturity of short term investment

I'm not sure but i feel this all can be met with SAP simplify finance functionality based on HANA. Anyone have any idea the or link which will give me more information about the same.

I want to know the changes due to simplify finance in Treasury and Risk Management.

Regards,

Jain

Hello Jain,

SAP Simple Finance (SFin) or HANA is nothing to do with this Functionality. HANA is basically a overhaul on the technical architecture of SAP systems and not necessarily a functionality.

For Alert Management in TRM, you can use the standard Alert management found under, SPRO>FSCM>TRM>Transaction Manager > Correspondence > Alert

You will be able to configure all types of alerts like interest due, maturing contracts and stuff like that.

This can also trigger an internal SAP mail with the details.

In case this is not as per requirement, you can always write a simple Z program which can even send alerts to Outlook mails. I have done this on few projects.

HI Jain,

You need to set up your product type for Alert Management in that node. Once you do that, when you run the Tcode FTR_ALERT based on upto and including date, the system will show you all the un posted flows based on the due dates. from here you can send notifications to the users manually.

You have to assign users in Define Alert Categories. You also need to check Basis settings to send notifications as usually these are blocked in PRD.

There is no separate category for maturity or interest flows, it shows all the due flows for a given key date.

If you want a more detailed notification , you will have to create your own program and make it run in background which will check the flows due for each day and send the notifications.
