Change in Valid to date for reources in a recipe

Hi All,

Need help for below query,

Is it possible to change the valid to date ( it is 31.12.9999 default ) to another date for example 31.12.2016 for the resources in a recipe with or with out change number?

Searched many post but didn't get any answer.

Without change number it is not possible in standard SAP.

thanks for your reply,

Could you please let me know how to change it with the change number? I have changed the settings to change rule but could not find how to change the valid to date. Checked in  alternative dates in change no. also.

Hello,

By using change number you can change valid-from date not Valid to date.

Workaround example Create a change number using CC01 ,having the valid from date as 01.07.2015 and make the changes in recipe

2.Create another separate change number using CC01,having the valid from date as 01.08.2015 and add the phase/operation in recipe

In that case you can view the valid from date as 01.07.2015 to 31.07.2015 .

Hi

Please implement ECM functionality with Change Number Record for MR where you can change the Valid From Date based on the Change number validity date and status active .

To activate ECN for Master recipe u need to set the Following

1) In OPN0 - Default values for Master recipe choose the Profile with which u want to create the Master recipe and Click on details > In the Change Parameters at bottom select "with Change Number" for Change Rule and SAVE

2) In OP5A - Select the Screen Group PP/PI/QM task lists: header screens and tick *Req * for the field Change Number (PLKOD-AENNR) and SAVE

Apart from that in configuration , you need the following -

This are the basic IMG settings in order to used the
engineering change management features.

x refers to a tick.

First setup the control
data in OS54.

Revision sections

Fields :-

Object Management

Only with leading change mst.

Setting the Revision level active is to activate the engineering change
management for material master.  If you do not want the engineering change
management for materials, remove the tick.

With a tick in "Higher
revision level", the new revision level has to be always higher than the old
revision.

Secondly, setup the external number range in OS53.
If you use the internal number range, then
remove the external number range.

Third, define the status for the change
master records in transaction SM30 - V_T419S.

Fourth, define modification parameters for the

The rest of the fields are
blank.
If the History Requirement is tick, every time during creation of the
BOM, SAP willprompt your for an ECN number as is compulsory.

Lastly,
define fields selection for routing in OP5A.

As far as I know without change number this is not possible.
