Deleting position BOM

Hello.

We triing to delete material in SARA. But it says: use in bill of material.

I deleted this material from all BOMs but it does not help. When I look using tr. CS15 or CS03 I can see that this material does not use everywhere.

But in STPO I can see positions of this material. So maybe the reason because of this? And how can I delete from STPO?

Please refer OSS note 47732 - Material is still used in bill of material and

215970 - Bill of material: Delete dead items

Report ZZITMTD2 possibly clears up historical changes to the bill of material, and therefore possibly deletes a part of your BOM history.

Hello,

BOM delete is not so simple... If ECN is active(Even if you are not using chnage number), You have to delete date from which componenet was effective.

Go to CS15 & find out parents for material you are trying to delete... Then for those parents execute CS03 by take out From & To dates... System will show all entries that you are seeing in STPO... Note the date from which material is effective & use that date in CS02 to delete that material.

you should be able to delete material after..

Does not help, because when I look into the CS03 - I see the deleted position from 01.07.2015 to 01.07.2015. But when I put in CS02 date "Valid from" 01.07.2015 I can not see this position in the BOM

Valid from & to date same doesn't make sense...It seems program Bug ... you may Open OSS message & report to SAP .

SAP will provide solution to delete these records
