Navigation from IT 0001 to PPOSE and not to PPOM_OLD

Former Member

Hi,

note 2097603 describes the navigation from IT 0001 Organizational Assignment to PPOSE - instead to PPOM_OLD.

T77S0 - ADMIN PPOSE is activated - but the navigation is still going to PPOM_OLD

We're on level 604-SP87 as required

Any idea?

Thanks Rita

Hi Rita,

There could be many reasons for that - here are some possibilities:

  1. Go to transaction SNOTE >> on the "Goto" menu choose entry "SAP Note Browser" >> in the "SAP Note Number" enter the following notes numbers and check if they are indeed completely implemented in your system: 2097603; 2097588; 2108962.

  2. Make sure that in T77S0 the entry ADMIN-PPOSE has the value 'X' (capital letter).

  3. Make sure that your user has authorizations for operating transaction PPOSE. If so, go to transaction PPOSE and check if you can view there the sub-tree for the relevant organizational unit.

  4. Try doing the following steps:
    • DO NOT place the cursor on one of the organizational structure fields of Infotype 0001 (you can place it on the "Employee Group" field for example) >>
    • Press on the "Org.Structure" button >>
    • A popup will be shown with the assigned objects: now try to double-click on one of the objects in the popup (for example on the organizational unit) and see if you get the PPOSE screen.

Wow, this is very weird indeed.

I know this sounds quite silly, but

  • Was the entry ADMIN-PPOSE added automatically in your T77S0 table after the notes were implemented, or did you add it yourself to the table?

  • Are you absolutely sure that the switch is turned-on at the same system and client in which you are trying to access the PPOSE?

I double checked again ...

- ADMIN-PPOSE was added automatically and I set value = 'X' (capital letter)

- yes, I'm definitely on the same system/client

Well, if you are absolutely sure that you have done all the necessary checks and everything is configured correctly, so I have no further suggestions, besides creating an incident (OSS Message) to SAP-Support and ask for their assistance.

I suspect that the problem relays on the notes implementations, but they will have to check it...

Hi Liran,

... indeed it was a mismatch in notes implementation.

Thanks for your support
