We are working in SAP PS EHP 7.0 and working on TS00008015.
As per SAP's standard documentation we know below facts.
Standard task TS00008015: Deviation in the confirmation is too large
If the duration or the work exceeds the predefined values in the confirmation, a workflow is automatically triggered: The MRP controller receives a work item by mail and can display the confirmation or the network from there, or correspond with the author of the mail.
As of now this standard functionality is working correctly.
Now if the request is supposed to be approved by Project Manager ( which is configured in CJ20N ) and not by MRP controller , what should be the approach here ? I know i have to copy the standard task into custom one. I am not sure here where I am supposed to do the coding part here because in the workflow logs, it showed logs of task only. Also this task has not been used in any of the workflow. So how should I do customization using this task ?
