Dear Experts,
Below is the following situation.
PO created with exchange rate 1USD = 61 INR date 01.06.2015 (Exchange rate fixed not ticked in PO header)
Base price 200 USD/ Unit (= 12200 INR)
Customs Duty 20% so 40 USD (= 2440 INR)
Customs invoice booked first in INR on 22.06.2015 with exchange rate as 1 USD = 62 INR
Customs duty @ 20% = 40 USD (= 2480 INR)
Goods receipt on same date 22.06.2015 with exchange rate as 1 USD = 62 INR.
GR IR account 200 USD (=12400 INR)
Customs duty account 40 USD (=2480 INR)
Exchange rate difference account should be (Base price exchange rate difference 200*61-200*62 = 400)
Then why it is showing as 813.44
Final invoice for PO vendor on 02.07.2015 with exchange rate as 1 USD = 63 INR
Vendor Account 63*200= 12600 INR
GR/IR account = 12400 INR
Exchange rate difference = 200 INR
Settings made in system are
In OB08 Exchange rates are maintained for the different dates.
In OMRW : Rate type maintained is M, and CCCurr box is ticked, No entries made in ERD column.
In OBA7: For goods receipt document type WE exchange rate is maintained as M.
I have attached screen shots.
1. PO screen shot
2. Customs Invoice accounting entry screen shot
3. GRN accounting entry screen shot.
Please advice.
Thanks and Regards,
Amit.
