Sim Version Planned order numbers not visible in RRP3

PPDS Planned orders created for sim version in APO are visible in the product view but the planned order "number" fields are blank! Order quantity is there but order numbers are not there. Since these are for sim version I don't find any CIF issue since CCR is for 000 version. Can you help?

Hi Rahul,

Please, check in /SAPAPO/RRCUST1 whether the flag "Use Number Range" is set and whether a number range has been specified.

Hi Rohit,

As mentioned by expert Ada Lv number ranges will be assigned to active version so numbers updated from ECC will be visible for active version only.

On the other hand, did you meant, that you took some run(heuristic/CTM/PPDS etc.) in inactive version and you don't see the internal numbers (APO generated) in in-active version?

Or

You copied the data from active to in-active version and you don't see the same?

In the first case, Apo internal numbers are visible; only planned orders are not visible.

In the second case if orders are copied, the order numbers are visible.

Is this normal and standard? Also I tried to search for help document or some SAP documentation but don't find this mentioned anywhere. If you could provide some link it will be great.

Hi Rohit,

Could you share some screen shots for the issue explaining with the same? Example you have forecast/dependent demand and then you don't see planned orders.

I will explain. Enter apo product view using product, location and simulation version. Click on Create a new order and enter date, quantity and hence order number is created. Now for this order on the same rrp3 page, there is no “receipt element” number / value in the field. If I check the internal order numbers for all orders, I can see an apo internal number for all orders including this new order.

Hi,

As far as I know, only version 000 is integrated with ECC system. Other sim versions will never be integrated with ECC, thus no order number will be assigned by CIFing.
