Is there a way to set OpenSocial gadget to the content pages?

I'm new on SAP Jam but I'm trying to learn it a little bit deeper. I learned how to install a gadget and create the extension in a group. Also how to add the gadget as a widget in the group Overview page.

My question here is if is possible to add the gadget as a widget in all content details page, like some feature in the right-side bar or something like this. Do you know if that is possible to do with SAP Jam?

Hi Felipe, 

Today you can add gadgets as a piece of content that appears in the content section of a Group, you can add them to the Overview page as a gadget, and you can add them to user profile pages.  We haven't yet added gadget support to the right of individual pieces of content, but we'd like to hear how you'd envision that working & what you're ultimately aiming to achieve.

We've got a few additional places planned to support OpenSocial gadgets -- one is the bottom chat bar to support integration of 3rd party IM, chat, presence, and video vendors, and the other is on the hover card for users.

What we'd like to do is create a custom OpenSocial gadget that can be viewed at any content page in SAP Jam and allow the content viewer to share it into our platform by clicking in the gadget action.

Currently, is there any other way in SAP that make it possible?

Today the only way to do this would be to add an OpenSocial gadget that logs back into the Group and allows the user to select a piece of content to share.  That's probably not the most ideal user experience, though.  So we'll take into consideration extending the Content panel with some options to add metadata or sharing options as you suggest -- this is a good suggestion for us to think about.
