Upgrading from 16.1 to 16.5SP05

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade from 16.1 to 16.5 SP05. Do we need to upgrade the repository also?

YES.

Otherwise you will get message when you try to connect to the repository.

To upgrade the repository, use your 16.5.5 Powerdesigner client and ADMIN account to connect to repository,it pops up message asking if you want to upgrade the repository. Click OK.

Powerdesigner will generate update code. Click Execute to run the code.

Before you doing upgrade, please back up your repository and  ask all users to disconnect to

the repository.
