Block Journal Entry

Hi Experts,

  I would like to block journal entries from access by users and restrict all journal entries by the journal vouchers only. However users should be able to read only.

In the authorizations when I select all journal entries to read only I find that journal vouchers cannot be posted with a message saying "You are not permitted to perform this action".  On giving full rights to journal entries the user is able to post the journal voucher without a problem.

This works contrary to my expectations and I am certain there is a way around this. Does someone have an idea ? Using SAP 9.0

Hi Martin...

I have done the same settings for my client it working fine. You will able view the journal entry and able post the journal voucher...
