Is it possible to flush tables together in Mobile BI (for ipads) ?

Hi,

I was trying to build a scorecard for ipads and for some reason the microchart doesn't show up for the row containing the sums. So, instead of the microchart, only vales show up. To go around this and have a microchart for the sum row as well, I made a different table for it. Here is how it looks right now:

The table with the Total doesn't seem well aligned and kind of disturbs the aesthetics of the report cum dashboard. I wanted to flush the tables together so that atleast the table below seems to be a part of the table above. Sadly, the formatting in ipads happens on its own and so far, I've not found any way to flush the tables together.

Is there any way the space between these be reduced?

Any suggestions from Mobile BI gurus?

Thanks!

Sakshi,

Viewing a tables in Mobile works completely different, review the Report Design guide specially for Mobile.  We usually create TWO Tabs, one for Browser view and another for Mobile view.

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for the link . I know developing reports for ipads is completely different knowing how different the end result can look. Having that in mind, I did read the report designers guide specially for mobile devices too.

However, my requirement still stands and wanted to know if anyone else has developed any hack for such a problem. Because, I would assume that when drawing a micro-chart having a row with the respective sums and wanting to see the microchart for that too. Here is a more detailed description of the problem -

Hi,

Never worked on mobile Bi but for bound tables together use relative position function in webi first and try.

Right click on the second table align->Relative Position.

relative position Horizontal -> distance 0 from the Left Edge of First table block name

Vertical -> distance 0 from bottom edge of First table block name

Hi,

Thanks for the response, but I've tried that and mobile BI re-formats everything by default ignoring the relative positioning.
