Hi,
My Data Flow S_DSO (Source) --> T_DSO (Target) - Daily Full
Source DSO Active Table consists of 17,733 Records
The Transformation doesn’t consists of any routines…just One-2-One field mapping and DTP doesn’t have any filter values.
While loading the data for some reason Count of records transferred (Not Added records) are 17,476…..
How/Why can I fix this issue
Thanks
Krishna
the one possibility I would see is, if you do not map all the key fields of source DSO, then there is a chance that, they get aggregated before updating to target.

Hi,
M is right..If the two (2) DSOs do not have the same key fields then maybe the 2nd DSO is already aggregated..

Hi,
1) Check the key part in both the DSO must be same if you need to get the same no . of records in source dso and target dso.
2) Check the key figures values are same in both DSO or not. if same values then forget the no. of records.
3)Check the dtp properties like Symantec key.etc.

Hi,
1) Key in Source and Target DSO ARENOT same.....But I am investigating on The Transferred records not on Added records...irrespective of Key fields the Transferred records should meet with Source active table
2)Key figure values are not same...Target aggregated amount is less than source
3) dtp properties like Symantec key ....nothing was defined
Please advise
irrespective of Key fields the Transferred records should meet with Source active table
No, it shouldn't. The number of transferred can well be in an aggregated form. There can be a number of reasons why the number is different (which does not mean it's incorrect). You're looking for a solution to a problem that probably is not even a problem.
do you actually miss data? if yes, you need to find the missing lines. Only then you can start investigating why these lines are not transferred to the target DSO.
M.
is the key of the second dso the same as the first dso?
