Inspection Plan assignment

Team,

i have a requirement to manually create an inspection plan for an inspection lot. i have created an inspection plan through QP01. the issue is, when i try to assign it the inspection lot through qa02, i am getting the error Inspection plan not found. what could be the issue?

The Usage is 5

Inspection lot origin is 08(Stock Transfer)

Hi,

Check the Inspection plan Usage & status (QP02) with repsect to inspection type-08

Note ;change the Insp.plan Usage from 5 to 9  & status-4 then it will work.

i have changed the usage to 09. Its still not working. any other issue?  the inspection lot is automatically created and its retaining the usage 05. could this be the issue?

Is your inspection lot in CRTD mode? Go to Insp.spec tab in QA02. What usage you see there? Your inspection plan must be of the same usage. If it is different you should create new inspection plan with that usage and try again!

The inspection lot is in created mode. The usage i am seeing in the Insp.spec tab is 05. I have tried creating insp plan with the same usage but am still not successful. any other option?

Hi Mutale,

Please check your Inspection valid from date which was created after inspection lot generation. Now delete the inspection plan and create new inspection plan, in which change valid from date which should be earlier than inspection lot creation. Now in QA02 assign inspection plan. Pl reward points if it works.
