Hi Experts,
So far, I have been always working on PI with dual stack. I heard that SAP NetWeaver will discontinue Dual-Stack after 7.4, and even in 7.4 SAP NetWeaver PI Java single stack(Advanced Adapter Engine Extended) is recommended. Surely there are differences on PI developing and configuration between dual stack and single stack. However I know nothing about PI with single stack. Could experts share how and where I can systemically learn PI single stack developing? Thanks a lot in advance.
Hi Zong,
First of dual stack doesn't dissapear although it's normal to install single stack for new installations that they don't require to maintain old design of ccBPM.
The design part is similar that the dual stack, the main difference is in the integration directory that you only have the ICO object and the administration that you only have the java stack.
You can find some interesting links in SCN:
Try to search the terms AEX or "single stack" in the blog and documents sections.

Hi Zong,
Yes, PI single stack version gives us better performance over dual stack version.
Learning single stack version is not a big deal, what ever we are have known in dual stack will be configured/worked in a different way..

AFAIK, there is no single document to explain the usage of single stack version, take any topic which you want to know about, post a query in the thread, then our colleagues will provide the relevant and helpful answers for it..
