ROC_Out not getting triggered and ASSERTION failed issue

Hi Experts,

I am facing an issue wherein in WEB UI PO confirmation is done and instead of ROC_Out ..RON_out is getting triggered.

In addtion to that i am getting an issue of ASSETION failed..but XML RON_out is getting generated and it is successful

I have activated ODM as per SAP note and made sure that ODM is maintained correctly.

In addition to that i have tried to activate planning object structures through /SCA/TSDM09 but getting the messaged that 9AINV1......planning structure object activation failed.

Could you please let me know the possible causes.

Also for ROC_Out Issue which is not triggering

I tried maintaining below validation setting :

Profile:POC3

Validation check:PO_PUBLISH_ACCEPTED_ITEMS

Validation check:PO_PUBLISH_CHANGED_ITEMS

Validation check:PO_PUBLISH_ACCEPTED_ITEMS

Status i have maintained as Inactive.

Please let me know what could be the solution so that ROC_Out will get triggered and also i would be able to resolve assertion issue and should be able to activate planning structure object.

I think all the above are related to single issue thats the reason i am posting this in one thread.

Firstly you need to solve TSDM dump. You can refer to below discussion in SCN as a reference for the solution:

After solving the INVM1 & DFC01 Planning object activations then you need to make the required approval settings to implement validation checks. You can check my latest reply on this area:

Kindly execute these steps and then lets us know the ROC_Out status.

Well let me explain you we have done the setting in SCM box for Supplier collaboration scenarios,

In addition to that Our BI system will also be integrated so that moving ahead we will be implementing Supplier performance and will need to develop report with the help of BI system.

I have force generated ODM setting and trying to activate POS.

But first i would like to get the POS issue resolved.

Shall i implement notes mentioned in the thread that you attached,,,,,Will there be any impact if we are going ahead with the Integration of BI system moving ahead as we ill be having BI also in place and it will be configured after our SNC system is stabilized.

Further ..Selim when i have done previous implementation i have not faced this issue then why this isssue is comeing...Anyways from project to proect new issues will arise and we need to handle.

Waiting for your valuable suggestion so that i will go ahead and will implement the notes you suggested.

But before that i force generated ODM and tried again to activate POS....got anotehr dump

Hi Shailesh,

I have faced the exact same issue 2 days before while setting up a brand new SNC system.

There were 2 major problems:

1- ODM Activation: I have followed the same steps mention in OSS 1178483. Anyways it did not activate correctly all the document types & components. Once i finish the activation, i have run the report /SCMB/ODM_CHECK with "*" in all areas. It shows the errored components where i go back for each of them try to activate everything until there is no error.

This is a real tricky part because you really need to ensure all the ODM Components&Data Types & Data Areas doesnt have errors.

2- TSDM Activation (INVM1 & DFC01): You need to activate the Time Series Data with Planning Object Structure. It will generate all the required steps to generate the time series. After having successful activation you can run it on "Activate Time Series Data Type" level.

As a last step, i suggest to run the report SAP_GENERATE_TMPTABLES. It will vreate the required BI tables in SNC system.

You can see the below screen shot for the generation variant and reference OSS note as below:

1881054 - Error message "No temporary table of type 06 fround reuse" is raised in SNC

After doing all these carefully, you should not have dumps due to interface execution. 

If you still have issues then i can try to connect to your system to check the issue further.

Note: In my opinion you need to resolve this ODM & Interface dump to activate the BI reporting correctly. Thus it will not save transactional data on TSDM level where reporting will not work.

Hi,

The objective to know how to stop or start RON_OUT once the supplier press the save and publish button

for Starting ROC_OUT once the supplier confirmation and publish

Please check if the PPF (post processing framework) the PO publish is active or not

I was able to triggered ROC_OUT I my system development by activating the PPF frame work

My issue is how do I stop RON_OUT trigger at Supplier confirmation but make it active as the customer publish

As RON_OUT should carry the changes to ecc once customer published the order in SNC but would not generate a confirmation line for PO in ECC ( this is scenario of consensus planning)

In a scenario of non consensus planning I am ok if the RON_OUT is not triggered and only confirmation is triggered

But ROC_OUT to get triggered from SNC while supplier publishes the order so that a confirmed line is created in ECC

I am still struggling to activate POS ,Below are teh setting of PPF which are default setings.

I am getting message like "Activation of planning object structure 9AINVM1 failed"

nfoObject 0CALDAY is not available in active version,...InfoObject 0CHNGID is not available in active version

When i am trying to activate INVM1..TSDM and trying to activate Planning object structure

We are checking the below note and if after analysis if its okay to be implemented , then we will implement it so that the issue gets resolved

I have another issue in my case DFC01 is not getting activated , I get following error: did you get this error , if yes how did you resolve this..

Error/warning in dict. activator, detailed log  --> Detail

The SQL statement was not executed

Table /BI0/9AFDFC01 (Error adjusting the database)

Table /BI0/9AFDFC01 could not be activated

Return code..............: 8

DDIC Object TABL /BI0/9AFDFC01 has not been activated

Hello,

I am facing the same issue in pushing the ROC XML out of SNC towards ECC through PI. There is no message found in sxmb_moni of SNC.

I have done the reports as you said with the following results:-

There are some red lines found in the SCMB/ODM_CHECK log in red like the one shown below:-

Component: 1SUB

      Check Customizing

        The component is active

        Component 1SUB contains change mode (OBJCHG)

        The generated structure  does not exist or is inactive

        Table type /SCMB/ODM_SUBST_TAB uses structure /SCMB/ODM_SUBST_STR

        A data area can be created using structure /SCMB/ODM_SUBST_STR

        A data area can be created using table type /SCMB/ODM_SUBST_TAB"

The reports for TSDM Activation (INVM1 & DFC01) and SAP_GENERATE_TMPTABLES are all good and activated successfully.

Please point me to the right direction as I am new to SNC.

Check action profile under PPF,

Check under action profile : /SCA/BOL_ORDER

/SCA/BOL_ORD_CONF_PUBLISH is active

Also check for the validation check:

Validation Profile: POC3

Validation check: PO_ACCEPTED_CONF_PUBLISH

Check Status: Active

Hi Ninu,

Firstly you should ensure that you do not have any dumps. TSDM based error generally showed in transaction code SLG1.

Most probably your problem is due to inactive ODM components. Kindly ensure that below OSS based steps are done carefoully:

1178483 --> Mandatory customizing for ODM activation

1338993 --> if Business Function SCM_SNC_GEN_1 activated then this is required customizing

1583976 --> if Business Function SCM_SNC_GEN_2 activated then this is required customizing

In addition to these, you can check below OSS note for trouble shooting.
