I created new currency conversion key that uses special InfoObject called Target Year/Period for variable time reference. This InfoObject uses 0FISCPER (Fiscal Year/Period) as reference.
There is no way to specify the handling of period 0 when a special InfoObject is used. As a result, I receive an error stating "Warning Period 0000000 - No valid translation date to specify" when I run a BEx query with this currency conversion key, even though the query doesn't select period 0 data. The query still brings back results, even with an error message.
Is there a different way to set up my currency conversion key, so that I don't receive an error?
Thank you.
Nadia
Hi Nadia,
The Warning "Period 0000000 - No valid translation date to specify" usually only occurs if there are 0 or not assigned values for the infoobject in question (in your case 0FISCPER). Such effects can also happen due to special scenarios (multprovider/infoset mapping..).
As described in SAP note 1099976 - BRAIN385 : Warning Period 0000000 you should be able to supress this message.
I hope this information helps you.
Best regards,
Bernhard
