Aggregation & Disaggregation

When we cannot aggregate or disaggregate the any key figure in Interactive demand planning book? I know how to aggregate and disaggregate in the demand planning. But one of my senior has told me that on one condition we cannot disaggregate or aggregate the key figures in the interactive planning book. Could anyone help me with an answer
