Would like to get your advice for using project WBS element in Maintenance Work Order.Could you please brief me how i can use the Project WBS element in PM WO.
Go through this link to clear about WBS concepts and the related Transactions. (Mainly it is CJ20n). Concepts of WBS element. As said before, after creating the project you need to assign the Project details in the Order Additional data tab. One WBS project can be assigned to several Orders and there can be hierarchy and hence the Planning board for operations can be obtained in CJ20n.
You can assign Work Order to the WBS on the Additional Data tab, this way the order will make part of the project hierarchy, also known sometime by the term subnetwork (when assigned to network activity).
