ME41 - Problem for copying item when create RFQ reference to PR

Dear Gurus,

I have created PR that has 2 line items (item 10 and item 20).

Then I would like to create RFQ reference to that PR (ME41).

After I select 2 items to be copied. It only copy the last item (item 20) as RFQ item.

Could you give explanation and solution regarding this problem?

Hi,

    Seems to be strange. Hope you are following the procedure explained in the help doc: Creating an RFQ by Copying or Referencing - Purchasing (MM-PUR) - SAP Library

    If you are following the same and still the item is not getting copied, then check whether the item is open for ordering and there is open quantity. Also check the authorization by entering /nSU53 after adopting the item.

    I would suggest to create a new PR with multiple items, (more than 2), release it (if applicable) and then try to create RFQ with reference to the PR and revert back. If its still not getting copied, revert back with your SAP release with EHP.

Dear Prasoon/Dibyendu,

I tried the way you have mentioned in the post, It is still not working.

I am planning to raise an SAP OSS now. Seems to be SAP bug.

Our System is on SAP Release 7.0 EHP 740 with S/4 HANA. SP1505.

Pls suggest if any more setting needs to be checked.

Hi,

   There is no additional settings to be done. it seems to be a bug and since you are in the latest SAP release with S4 HANA platform, there is no relevant note released yet. I would suggest you to raise an OSS ticket to SAP. Do update us the response from SAP.

As expected, SAP has suggested a note number 2182717, we have implemented and problem is resolved.

Strange, the note's symptom says a different scenario. It is saying about a dump.

Yes, Strange but worked. I did notice it and later we thought of implementing and testing the same in the system, and it worked.
