Crystal Reports migration

Hi All,

My company has many reports developed in Crystal Reports 2008. To run the reports we ask our customers to install on each client machine the Crystal Reports 2008 SP2 runtime.

Now we are migrating the reports to SAP Crystal Reports 2013. We installed SAP Crystal Reports 2013 Developer and the reports created in the old CR2008 version are working fine in the new version CR2013.

1. Can you confirm that CR2013 is back compatibility with CR2008 and there is no need to do anything with the old .rpt binary files? (as far as I can see it's not even necessary to open the old binary files in the new CR2013 Developer and save them with the new Developer, just open the old reports with the new Developer 2013 works ok, is that correct?)

We are also looking at the latest Crystal Reports 2013 Runtime to replace the old one in the client machines but we cannot find it.

2. Can you provide a location to find the latest SAP Crystal Reports 2013 runtime to execute the reports developed with SAP Crystal Reports 2013 Developer?

Thanks in advanced for your help.
