Copy Data with Transaction

Dear Experts,

I have a customer ,they are using SAP B1 from 2014 jan, but they what to open new data base for this year ( from 2015Jan) so how can i copy all data (All transactions) till now

Hi,

Use Quick copy option to copy data between database.

With quick copy , can i copy even the transactions of that period( jan2015 to till date)?????

Hi,

No, quick copy is useful to copy only configuration data not transaction date.

Question:

If they want create new DB, then why they need old transactions?

Actually they did some wrong postings in 2014 so that are giving some differences in cumulative balances when we are doing closing periods 2014dec so, we decided to take closing balances of 2014dec to opening balances of 2015 jan then use new DB, so thats why we need only transactions from jan2015 , can you please help me any idea

Then this case,

1. Create new DB and copy all configuration data to new DB by using quick copy.

2. Use DTW to import all opening balance from old db to new DB.
