Hi,
I've used my Eclipse environment successfully to walk through a couple of tutorials and courses about HCP. Now, after a break of a few weeks, I'm not able to connect to the HCP trial landscape anymore. As far as I can recall, I haven't made any changes to my settings.
I'm working from the same locations as before.
My trial account is still valid.
I don't use proxies. I tried proxy settings Direct, Native and Manual (empty).
My firewall allows all outbound TCP and UDP traffic.
I try to create a new Server (J2EE Perspective, Server view, New - Server) or add a new cloud system (SAP HANA Development perspective, Systems view, Add Cloud System) or try to run my application on the remote server (Run as - Run on Server etc).
I get the error
Not a valid HANA Cloud Platform landscape host: hanatrial.ondemand.com
or
Cannot reach host [https://hanatrial.ondemand.com]. Check host name for typing errors and make sure your proxy and network settings are correct
HiArto,
upgrade your eclipse tools, there have been updates of the landscape certificates, which can lead to this confusing error message. See also http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/cloud-platform/blog/2015/05/20/platform-certificates-w....
Best regards,
Markus
