Time Characteristics in Open ODS

Hi experts,

   I am new to BW on Hana and tried to use the open ODS on top of a table in ECC.

   In the table, there is a date, which is linked to 0CALDAY. However, in my report, I need to use 0CALMONTH, 0CALYEAR, 0FISCPER, etc.

   There is no transformation for open ODS, so I would like to know how to add there time characteristics to the open ODS and mapped them from 0CALDAY as in BW transformation.

Hi Tarow,

If your requirement is like, you have field 0calday i.e in DD.MM.YYYY and you need the date in MM.YYYY in report.

Then Select the date Field in ODS View, and in Association tab, Select as Infoobject 0CALMONTH.

then in the report the date is seen in the format MM.YYYY.

Thank you for reply. However, my solution is that I created the datasource with the table from ECC and link the datasource to open ods. Time distribution can be implemented in the transformation.

Did you already try to link the DATE to 0CALMONTH, 0CALYEAR, 0FISCPER, etc.? I don't know if that's possible, I'm just guessing..
