Question: CHARM in 7.1 SP12, Normal Change. Transports get imported only if task list's task 'Schedule Import Job for Transport Requests' executed twice

Hello Experts,

I'm wondering if you've ever come across the following issue:

in 7.1 SP12, Normal Change's  transports get imported only if task list's task 'Schedule Import Job for Transport Requests' executed twice.

At a first attempt to move transports Task List's log is showing 'Importing...' message , and Transports are not moving...

Message no. /TMWFLOW/TRANSPORT_N604

Any idea why?

I prefer to use the import job option (SP10 and higher) mentioned here instead:

Thanks a lot for your advice,

My problem is that even if I run the import job, the job has to run twice to move TRs.

At a first attempt this job seems doing nothing and transports are not moving. At second attempt the job is moving TRs.

And funny enough, the job log is the same at the first and the second attempt:

However, the Import Monitor log shows this:

Any guess why this happening?

Hi MM

Did you check other logging? Check STMS tp system log for example? You should try to get more detail on what is happening.

You should try to figure out why TMS throws error message "Could not handle file as supposed" as that seems to be the root cause of the error.

There was a corrupted tp directory. The mystery is resolved now 🙂
