Why does the SAP Store show "No Solutions" for SQL Anywhere?

Why does the shopping cart link "SAP SQL Anywhere" on the SCN SQL Anywhere home page show "No Solutions"?

Is SQL Anywhere no longer offered for sale as a separate product?

Hey Breck

Apologies for this - The SAP store was relaunched a short while ago, and the link here on SCN is still pointing to the old web site.

I've made a few calls this morning, and the links should be updated soon.

The new store link is here:

https://www.sapstore.com/solutions/99017/SAP-SQL-Anywhere

Reach out to me directly if you have any issues.

The only server product available on that page ist the Workgroup Edition. How is someone, who needs the Standard Edition, supposed to order that?

The following goggle searches indicate that the terms "Standard Edition" and "Advanced Edition" have been quite thoroughly expunged from sap.com, leaving behind only a few tangential references.

"standard edition" "sql anywhere" site:sap.com

"advanced edition" "sql anywhere" site:sap.com

One possible conclusion is that the Standard Edition and Advanced Edition of SQL Anywhere have been removed from sale.

Breck, Reimer

All SQL Anywhere Editions are still available for sale, but not on the store just yet - we sell the products via our reseller partner network, which scales well globally, and additionally,  through the SAP direct sales force - we have offices in more than 230 countries.

We made a decision around which SAP products, and which versions or editions of those products go into the newly launched store in the first version, and will adapt this on customer and partner demand.

So, no hidden messages, or ulterior motives - the store is new, and we had to start somewhere.

Got it! ...in order to serve us better the SAP Store has fewer items on its shelves 🙂
