Report should show the o/p in (hr)2,4,6... .instead of 01,02,03,....23 format.

Hi Experts,

The user want to see data on Tableau(Reporting tool),and we are creating the query and provide it to Tableau consultant,so that he can configure it.

So i have created a query and dragged the time infobject char. in column and KPIs in row section.but here my concerns is the data is coming in 01,02,03,04 ...23 this format but the actual requirement is the data should populate in the below format,

Time     02  04   06   08 ......12

Key Val:10  20    30  40.......39

As i can achieve this by creating the structure in the query designer level but structure is not supporting by Tableau tool.

So could you please guide me how can i achieve this without creating structure in query designer.or do i need to write exits for it.

my data flow is,,

I am extracting the data through APD--->Direct update DSO--->Standard DSO--->Cube--->Multi provide--->Query.

Hi Sat,

I assume your time char is the calmonth.

you could try what happns if you choose text instead of key.

If necessary, you can maintain the nmbers you want to see as a text for the calmonth.

Is there any particular reason why Tableau is not supporting structure?

any key figure we drag in column area automatically becomes part of structure, so I find it strange that the tableau shall not support structures.

Please check if there ant problem in MDX etc. and regerate query.

also, if you defined it as global structure then remove reference and make it local and try.
