SES:Approval date = posting date

Hi,

Is it possible to make  the approval date of the Service entry sheet (SES) to the posting date so that It will be posted on the right month/date.

Can somebody throw light for this issue?

Here psting date 05.05.2015

Here Approval date 02.06.2015.

At the approval stage you have the ability to change the posting date, ML85.

So the unfortunate thing is the approver has to know this method.  A userexit could be used to check the correct period, etc.....

Hi,

   In the mentioned SES, the user created it on 05.05.2015 and the same was changed and accepted on 02.06.2015.

   If you want the posting date should be same as the acceptance date, you may go for development. Refer the thread: and

This requirement does not make sense. You have released the service entry sheet on 02.06.2015, so this field value has to be 02.06.2015. Why it will be as posting date.

Not only for release, this date will be updated when you will do any changes of this service entry sheet.
