Event in KB15N - Message BP622

Dear experts,

In KB15N transaction I have event that I can not locate. When budget is exceeded the system shows BP622 message "availability control" and generate mail to one user.

I look for user exits, WFs but I think that it is possible that this email address was filled in SPRO. For example "Training and event management". In

TBP1C table there is a record configured to this event.

I need to know where I can change the "recipient" of this email event. Would you help me?

p.d. I think that it is possible to configure with SO36 or BAPIs/BADIs but I can not find this source code.

Hi David,

KB15N is for cost allocation. Error budget exceeded comes when the receiver is the budget relevant cost object i.e. a WBS element or an internal order.

What action is taken when budget exceed depends on the "tolerance limit" defined in the system.

Path:

For internal order

Spro-> IMG -> Controlling -> Internal Order -> Budgeting and Availability Control -> define tolerance limits for availability control.

For WBS element

SPRO ->IMG > Project System > Costs > Budget > Define Tolerance Limits.

1 for "Warning"

2 for Warning with Mail to the Person responsible

3 for error.

so the mail comes because the system would have been configured to generate mail along with the BP622 message.

Now the configuration for the recipient of the mail :

The name maintained in the field  "person responsible" field of the master data of the cost object receives the mail. New names could be configures in transaction OPS6 where SAP User ID of the person responsible should be mentioned in the field "Office User".

Transaction SO36 which you mentioned is used for automatically forwarding the mail of a SAP user to the external ID.

Thank you Pooja every items that you request was configured as you write.

I need another help. I think that user who recibes mail is only responsible person o one Office user. And I need that email will send to set of users. Then I try that USER OFFICE will be set of users. Distribution list for example.

Do you have any idea? Or you think that it is a z code insertion in user-exit or enhencement.

Hi David,

If you want to send the mail to other users also apart from the one mentioned in the person responsible, this could be done with help of SAP Enhancement SAPLBPFC.

Please refer to the following SAP Note:

* Note 429793 - The SAP enhancement SAPLBPFC

To activate the enhancement you will have to use CMOD transaction and create and enhancement project to which corresponding enhancement is assigned.

Please consult your ABAPer for this.
