I'm unable to download an XML file from IE Browser as shown in the screen below :

Nothing happened .. it's worked before the upgrade (on SP3)

Did you upgrade the Kernel as well?

What Browser and JVM version are you using?

I did the test on IE 8 and 10 (Not working on both)

JAVA -> Version 8

I don't know if the basis team did the upgrade to the Kernel as well

Hello Hiham,

See if tracing the JVM as per the following note helps

1733649  ITS Up/Down: tracing improved

The JVM trace should tell were the breakdown is occurring.

Hello Hicham,

If you are seeing the spinning circle per the screenshot, then I don't think the Java applet was called.

I would check whether a more recent kernel patch level can be installed in the system. I recommend using kernel 7.42 (if not installed yet).
