scales basing on weight

Dear Experts,

we have a special requirement that scales need to be implemented basing on weight.

the requirement is as follows

5000 kg to 10000 kg -- 25 ps/kg

10001 kg to 30000 kg --- 30 ps/kg

the weights of the above scales shall be applicable on monthly sales basis not on individual sales order basis.

how to achieve this requirement in standard.

Hi PK K,

               Rebate Agreements are provided in the SAP Standard in order to facilitate such requirements. Search for rebates on SCN and update.

You may copy the condition type BO02 and edit it. Set calculation type to Weight and scale basis to Weight scale (Net or Gross weight as per your business need). Edit the access if the discount is on the material basis only.

Dear Anwer,

if we follow material rebate basing on weight, then it would be calculating for annual basis right...

but the requirement is calculation shall be happen for monthly. that means system shall check the monthly wight of the product ordered for each customer.

for ex: if customer "x' has placed 30 orders for material "Y" throughout june 2015 and the cumulate wight of the product ordered/delivered is 6000kg.

now the client want to settle this 25ps*6000kg= z amount in the  next month(july 2015).

So can you guide me whether this material rebate works for this requirement?

what is the volume of transactions like this? if it is not much I would suggest that you issue a credit memo to customers.

               I believe we can make a manual settlement, if the volume is not too high of the transactions.
