Stock determination of serialized materials

Hi all, could you please tell me if stock determination for serialized materials is not working?

I wonder if this is generally not working or only for serial number profiles for which processing is "mandatory".

I think the OSS note is pretty clear with this statement:

"Stock determination in the delivery with materials that are subject to serial number requirement is according to SAP Note 712985 a currently missing function"

and I think this info is not obsolete if you still get error message VL 748 "Stock determination split is not possible in item & with serial numbers".

Could you please tell me if the related processing is like the following:

• VL06P: Identify deliveries without transfer order
• MIGO: Execute 411-K transfer posting from consignment to own
• LT03 / VL06P / WS_MONITOR_OUTB_DEL_PICK: Create transfer order for delivery

I wonder if there is a way to avoid delays in the transfer order creation.

Does that mean that stock determination also is not working for materials with serial number profiles without functionality (serial number usage 01 None)?
