CJ8G overposting KO88

Dears,

When running CJ8G transaction it seems that the system is overlapping the transaction KO88 (which in our case is performed before). Does anybody knows how the system behaves on this case? I suspect that the flag on (With orders & With hierarchy) when running CJ8G has some impact on it. Also, does the status of the production order has any impact on it?

Hi Leandro,

In CJ8G the scope of objects selected is defined in selection variant. Within a selection variant you specify also the database profile (similar as in CJ88). If you want to exclude Production orders from mass WBS settlement you have to create your own database profile (TC OPTX) and here uncheck dependant objects you don't want to be settled together with WBS:

edit: flags "with orders/hierarchy" are only in CJ88. WBS element status has impact to selection of WBS elements themselves, not on related objects.

Yes, these two naturally can overlap, but you need to design the process when they do not.  Or use just CJ8G.  Again some month-end processes require multiple settlements in specific sequence, and I cannot know you particular situation.

The system status apparently has impact on settlement.

Your question is too big for a simple answer.
